Sightline's

For perspective, I'm in a 20' boat at the top of this shot. This river system was unbelievable. Endless cuts, creeks, and marsh. I mean you could spend a week in this area and never look at the same water twice. The cut I hunted on this day was a 16 mile rip from the boat ramp. Why a 16 mile run? Because I wanted to, I had zero justification. It just looked cool on OnX. 

I ended up getting caught by the sunset after this hunt, and the rule of thumb with hunting big rivers is that you never run in the dark. On top of that, I had to go up river. It was a white knuckled 16 miles to say the least. The Bush Light was extra sweet once we made it back to the truck.
