Lone Hen

Laying in the swaths of Saskatchewan Canada. My second time in Canada, and the timing was perfect. The country up there is vast like nothing you can find in the states, so when the leaves start to turn it's a special sight.

This was the last hunt with this crew before I headed west to meet up with a client. I probably wont ever forget this one too, there were 6 of us total and we laid up against full body goose shells in swaths. And we beat the brakes off of them all morning. Clay Crenshaw is an old friend and he's the one seen here. He's got a labradoodle, of all dogs, one of the best duck dogs I've ever hunted with.
